As you can tell, this blog has been neglected for the past several months! I promise that we will blog regularly once I get to England. Just a little update on what is going on in each of our lives...
As you all know we are still apart at the moment. Jon is in England and has been since August. I am in Mason, Texas but will be moving to England on December 21st! We are counting down the days and getting to the end feels SO good!
Right now Jon is living with his parents until the wedding. He has a wonderful job as a draftsman and is really enjoying the work that he is doing. He also spends a lot of his time playing football (or in America we would say soccer). Basically he stays really busy trying to prepare for our lives together in England, and I am SO thankful for all that he does for us.
I am in Mason finishing up my degree. I finish student teaching on December 1st - I will be a bit sad to leave because this time at home has been such a blessing. I love being in Mason with my parents so it will be hard to leave - but, Jon and I hope to make our way back at some point!
Well, that is basically a summary of events for us during this last time apart. We keep encouraging one another to take in every moment we have with family and friends because once we get married things will never be like they were - actually they will be so much better but sometimes a change is a difficult process to go through. We are SO thankful for this season that God has us in and we are looking forward to what He has to come for our lives together!
